What's new for at Gymfinity!
- Gymfinity has worked hard with our coaches, sport experts and parents to help create some guidelines for parents registering their young children in our Kindergym Programs, as well as registering children with behavioural challenges in our recreational stream.
- SAFETY POLICY: For all Programs but particularly - Tiny Gymmies, Little Gymmies, Gymmies, Kinder trampoline and Kinder Ninja - children must be able to remain with the group at all times. Children who run away from the instructor will need a care-giver(parent, relative, sibling) to accompany them at every class until they are able to remain with the group without running off. All our programs are group based and 'runners' represent a safety risk to themselves and to other athletes. Please make sure you fully understand our new policy prior to registration.
- CHILDREN WITH CHALLENGES & GYMNASTICS: Registering your child with behavioural challenges? Consider a few options:
- Register in a program for younger children and/or plan on providing a care-giver during the class.
- Plan to only participate in a portion of the program (ie stay for the first hour of a 90 min program)
- Be flexible with your program choices and choose a program during a quieter time.
- Inquire about private lessons to allow your child to time to get used the often over-stimulating environment.
A gymnastics gym is a bright, loud and busy place, and many classes happen after a long and tiresome school day. This combination can lead to difficulties getting the most out of our programming. If you are planning to register your child with challenging behaviours, please provide us with full and complete disclosure during the registration process.
- 3RD PARTY FUNDING POLICY: Looking for financial help? If you are seeking funding from Jump Start, Youth Reach or We are the Villagers, please be advised that, beginning with the Winter Session you will be asked to sign a contract obligating you to cover any costs that are not funded (GO insurance fee, HST etc), as well acknowledging our refund policy and that spots for programs will not be held without written confirmation of funding. We ask that you respect these policies to ensure that funding remains available for all families who need it.
